Waterford South Tipperary Local Area Employment Service (WSTLAES) is responsible for the provision of employment assistance and advice services to jobseekers to help them to enter or return to employment. Services offered include:

  • Professional one-to-one support to assist with career progression
  • Professional CV
  • Interview Coaching and Job Seeking skills
  • Assessment of current education, training and skills experience.
  • Access to financial support for accredited training
  • Information on TETB training courses, Department of Social Protection supports and services, etc.
  • Up-dated information weekly on Facebook about job vacancies and courses
  • Use of IT to assist in job-seeking efforts.

The service is provided by a partnership composed of  Waterford Leader Partnership, Waterford Area Partnership and South Tipperary Development Company.

Target Groups: Jobseekers in in receipt of Social Welfare payments, primarily those who are long-term unemployed.
