South East Regional Family Support Network provides peer support for adult family members affected by problem substance use of a relative in Clonmel, Carrick-on-Siúir and catchment areas. All its services are free, confidential and non-judgemental. These include:

  • Providing brief intervention and one-to-one support for family members
  • Providing information, support and guidance
  • Introducing family members to local peer family support groups
  • Supporting existing peer family support groups and helping to set up new groups
  • Providing volunteer support programmes
  • Delivering training for family members and services
  • Organising respite programmes
  • Promoting the value of peer family support
  • Organising workshops for family members
  • Representing the collective voice of families for positive change in policy and practice

Eligibility: Adult family members affected by problem substance use of a relative
