South East Regional Family Support Network
South East Regional Family Support Network provides peer support for adult family members affected by problem substance use of a relative in Clonmel, Carrick-on-Siúir and catchment areas. All its services are free, confidential and non-judgemental. These include:
- Providing brief intervention and one-to-one support for family members
- Providing information, support and guidance
- Introducing family members to local peer family support groups
- Supporting existing peer family support groups and helping to set up new groups
- Providing volunteer support programmes
- Delivering training for family members and services
- Organising respite programmes
- Promoting the value of peer family support
- Organising workshops for family members
- Representing the collective voice of families for positive change in policy and practice
