The iScoil programme is a non-profit online learning service that offers young people a pathway to learning, accreditation and progression to further education, training and employment. The programme provides an alternative route to attainment of a QQI qualification, equivalent to the Junior Certificate, for young people for whom attending school presents severe challenges. It is flexible and adaptable, allowing students to work at their own pace, from home or from a local blended learning centre if one is available to them.

Target Group: Young people, aged 13 – 16 years, who are out of school for at least six months and who have not completed the Junior Cert.

Referral: Referral by Education Welfare Officer. Selection is not automatic as places are limited.
