Autism Awareness Roscrea is a voluntary group formed to provide information and supports and to facilitate peer support among families living with autism, to raise awareness about autism in the wider community, and to develop facilities and services to respond to need. Autism Awareness Roscrea provides a central Community Hub for people on the autistic spectrum as a place to meet peers for social interaction and recreation. Current activities include:

  • Regular parent group meetings
  • Recreational activities for adults and children living with autism
  • Informational talks/workshops and training for parents, siblings and grandparents
  • Access to sensory area in the AAR Hub
