Are you the proud parent of a baby aged between 2 to months of age living in Tipperary?

You and your baby could be a Roots of Empathy family with Barnardos.

Roots of Empathy is an award-winning programme for Primary school children. The programmes aim is to increase empathy and help children to learn about a baby’s needs and development in their first year of life.

At the heart of the programme is a local community parent who volunteers their time to visit a class with their baby throughout the school year. A trained Roots of Empathy Instructor supports the children to observe how the baby grows, naming and talking about feelings, and thinking about the feelings of others (Empathy)
